Mrs. Michelle Bowers-Flowers boasts over 30 years of professional experience in the tourism industry, with more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Belize Tourism Board. Serving as the governing body, the Belize Tourism Board is responsible for overseeing, enhancing, and promoting Belize’s tourism products. Michelle brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, offering strategic leadership to steer Belize’s tourism development, destination promotion, and transformation in a sustainable manner.

In her role as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Belize Tourism Board, Michelle leads a diverse team in key areas, including travel trade, public relations, hospitality, and digital marketing. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing from California Coast University. Michelle’s fervent passion and commitment to tourism emanate from her deep love and pride for Belize— a country blessed with a dynamic blend of natural beauty, cultural diversity, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
