With 18 + years of experience in the Belizean business environment, she has learnt to become a determined, reliable, and no-nonsense leader who strives to be result oriented and dependable.
She pairs a broad range of trusted leadership experience, primarily in the private sector, with a focus on Human Resources Management and Public Relations.
Her broad range of business experience includes HR, PR, Sales, Logistics, Administration, Operations, Corporate Governance and Marketing, which she very much enjoys doing as it combines creativity with business strategy.
Empowering and improving the lives of the less fortunate in our community is a passion she has undertaken by joining organizations dedicated to this task. This includes membership in the Rotary Club of Belize. She is an active member both locally and regionally for Rotary District 4250 as District Membership Chair and Rotary Club of Belize President 2023 – 2024.
Her personality traits, analytical mindset, and passions are what fuel her constant need to learn, grow and evolve within and outside of our local business environment. They also make her a proven leader.
Ms. Meighan is an Operations Manager at Acquity BPO Limited in Belize, a global digital services company that has other divisions in the United States, Canada, Philippines, and Guyana with plans for continued growth.
As a part-time lecturer at Galen University, she also continually enhances her experience and know-how in the HR field while also developing her communication skills. These opportunities foster a better understanding of the mindsets of future generations and enable her to positively impact their business perspective as well.
Lastly, as the Vice President of Services on the Executive Council of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she seeks to learn from and become a highly effective contributor to an energic and driven council aimed at continually developing a more innovative, sustainable, and progressive business climate in Belize. She is slated to become President of the Chamber as of Quarter 2 of 2024 for a 2-year term.
