Prior to joining Finance Belize, Solangel worked in the financial services industry at both the domestic and international levels for over 18 years primarily in operations, administration, customer service and project management.  She expanded her knowledge in compliance at the Financial Intelligence Unit overseeing the Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions portfolio. Her experience and skills traverses finance, project management, and corporate governance.   She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management along with certificates in Fund Administration, Company Law and Administration from The Chartered Governance Institute coupled with certificates in Managerial Leadership, Sales, Customer Service, and Anti-Money Laundering.
