Women’s Empowerment Forum 2026

Finance Belize was honored to join the 4th annual Women’s Empowerment Forum as a Distinguished Member of the Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI). Our Marketing and Communications Officer, Andrea M. Gallaty, served as moderator in the panel focused on “𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 – 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬” along with panelists – Ms. Sandra Perez , Chief Lending Officer and Gender Champion of Development Finance Corporation (DFC), & Ms. Deborah Sewell, Owner of Ambassador’s Terrace and Managing Director at Love Foundation Belize. This meaningful experience provided valuable insight into the realities faced by women in business and finance, and reinforced the importance of fostering an environment of growth and opportunity.

We had the privilege of being part of an incredible panel on Women, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Opportunity. Engaging in strategic dialogue, we explored how women can leverage innovation and digital tools to grow their impact and scale their success.

A heartfelt thank you to all organizers and partners for creating space for these critical conversations that help move women from survival to scale. We look forward to continuing this journey, contributing, learning, and connecting with inspiring women leaders and changemakers. Together, we can accelerate progress and empower more women to lead and innovate.
