Strengthening Belize-Guyana Private Sector Ties

Finance Belize was pleased to participate in the Private Sector Dialogue held on 30 January 2026 with an inbound investment delegation from Guyana visiting Belize as part of the State Visit of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. The event led by BELTRAIDE, convened a valuable platform for dialogue, relationship-building, and practical exploration of opportunities—particularly as the delegation expressed keen interest in Belize’s agribusiness sector.

During the session, Finance Belize’s CEO Hero Balani highlighted how Belize’s evolving financial services ecosystem can support innovative, investment-ready structures and new growth pathways, including:

💠 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: with a modernized Trust Act expected to strengthen competitiveness and investor confidence.
💠 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 & 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬: with a proposed Digital Assets Act in the pipeline to drive growth in innovation.
